I think it is outrageous that the hospital emergency charges $35.00 for "after hours care". The fee is unfair because patients can't predict when they will need medical attention. Chestnut Hill Hospital is taking full advantage of our community in our hour of need. Even more exasperating is my family member was brought in by ambulance. I know for a fact that the doctor's/staff are paid a higher rate already for those hours and even more for weekends. Your hospital should take another look at yourselves, not to mention the horrible unprofessional care we got. I had to tell the staff/doctor that I wanted another ambulance to take my family member to Abington Hospital. DISGRACEFUL!!!
