I had surgery on Friday February 17th the nursing staff in recovery was excellent as was the nurses I has Friday night with the exception of a nurse withholding pain meds until she could get the pump for my dilaudid and I was left crying in pain and through Saturday morning. My problems didn't start until after breakfast. Nurses and techs leaving me on bedpans for 30 minutes. I started having nosebleds and wheezing asked the nurse to get my pulmonologist, that is when Beth showed up telling me if I would quit picking my nose then I wouldn't have the nosebleeds and as for the wheezing yes I was wheezing but my inhalers should take care of the problem. The next morning I had Beth again and she asked me way I had so many surgeries, it's because I'm hypermobile and have retorn tendons and ligaments that have been fixed. She basically called me a liar and said that I needed to lose weight and that if she had been the dr that she would not have done as many. My other issue came about when a patient borrowed my phone charger. My family was on their way to get me and I asked her to get my charger. Again she basically called me a liar and said no other patient was in my room. I told her yes there was what room he was in and to please get my phone charger which she did. I was discharged with a bloody nose, wheezing and coughing up green gunk. I will be calling my general physician tomorrow for an antibiotic. No patient should ever be treated this way. I came home and cried.
what I meant to say was the nurse I had late Friday Night and early Saturday morning was exceptional
